Yesterday, I spent many hours working on the promo excerpt with Blind Eye’s editor and the new intern. It’s wonderful to see how engaged everyone on the Blind Eye team is with my project. You know you’ve done good, I think, when everyone gets so excited about making the book even better. :)
The promo excerpt consists of the first chapter, which will be made into a cute little booklet and will be used to sell my book. I think it’s great to be able to show off my entire first chapter like this. I am looking forward to seeing the sales kit. I think it will be especially beautiful because of Dawn Kimberling’s lovely artwork. I can’t thank her enough for her tireless efforts (seriously, she does not sleep) when it comes to making this book come to life.
