Her short fiction appears in Hybrid Fiction, Escape Pod, Podcastle, Terraform, and elsewhere. Her novel, Highfell Grimoires, is a Best Book of 2014 in SF/Fantasy/Horror by Publishers Weekly.
She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her two partners, two children, really a lot of cats, and her dog. She enjoys permaculture gardening, tabletop co-ops and RPGs, action-adventure fantasy games and farming sims, creating multimedia/digital art, reading, and hiking.
